Launching in 2015 with partner Chevron, this intitiative will prepare young men and women in the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan to find and keep jobs. Having identified life skills as one of the major employability and social needs of young people here, Skills to Succeed will incorporate our Passport to Success® curriculum. To ensure long-term sustainability, the initiative also will build the capacity of 15 to 20 local organizations to provide high-quality, market-relevant programming to 3,000 youth. Two thousand youth will receive life and job readiness skills training, while another thousand will increase their science, technology, and math (STEM) education. As a long-term goal, the initiative aims to boost youth inclusion and civic engagement by supporting these youth opportunities.
